During Douglas County Circuit Law Day on May 26, 2026, the Honorable Craig Carter sentenced the following defendants:
Darin G. Sisco, 59, Ozark, was sentenced to six years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the class D felony of possession of a controlled substance as a prior and persistent felony offender after Sisco admitted to violating his probation. The court ordered the previously imposed sentence executed and served pursuant to RSMo. 559.115. The original offense occurred in February 2023 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
William B. Mascol, 32, Hartville, was sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the class D felony of second-degree domestic assault as a prior and persistent assault offender. Pursuant to a plea agreement, the court ordered the sentence suspended and placed Mascol on five years of supervised probation with the Board of Probation and Parole. The offense occurred in April 2025 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
Dennis J. Carr, 54, Mountain Grove, was sentenced to 10 days in the Douglas County Jail for the class D felony of failing to register as a sex offender. The offense occurred in March 2026 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
Brandon C. Mills, 44, Mountain Grove, was sentenced to a $100 fine, plus court costs, for the class E felony of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. The offense occurred in January 2025 and was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
There were 40 criminal cases on the docket, with some defendants appearing by video. Three felony guilty pleas were entered. One failure to appear warrant was issued. Probation was revoked in one case. One defendant completed probation. One case was set for a probation violation hearing.
Two cases were set for jury trial, and three cases were set for either disposition or trial setting.
