Ava, MO. – A woman from Ava who has been diagnosed with dementia was announced as missing yesterday, and was found safe afterward.
The original statement was released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol via a silver advisory. Outlined in the statement was the subject of the search, Marcia Ann Brumfield, a 74-year-old woman diagnosed with dementia. Brumfield went missing on February 9th, and had last made a comment about possible travel to Springfield.
The lead-up to the results of the search was not detailed, but Brumfield was found safe and unharmed as of roughly 8:30 last night, Monday, February 12th.
