On December 4, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Department Deputy received information regarding a statutory rape that occurred in Douglas County. At the conclusion of the investigation, Shalin B. Leeper, 18, was arrested and charged with First Degree Statutory Rape or Attempted Statutory Rape with a person less than 14 years old and Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Statutory Sodomy – Deviate Sexual Intercourse – with a person less than 14 years old.
Bond is set at $1,500.00 cash with bond conditions of house arrest at court approved residence except to attend school. GPS monitor.
