WEST PLAINS, Mo. — West Plains Downtown Revitalization is inviting local businesses and organizations to
become part of a new Downtown Banner Sponsorship Program, offering year-round visibility while helping support
the continued revitalization of downtown West Plains.
The program allows sponsors to display their logo on decorative street banners throughout downtown for a full year.
Each banner will feature the West Plains Downtown logo along with the sponsoring business’s logo, creating a
visible demonstration of community investment and local pride.
Annual sponsorships are available for $300 per banner, providing businesses with 365 days of exposure in one of
the community’s most visible locations. Banners will be installed in late November 2026 and remain on display
through late November 2027.
“Downtown businesses and organizations have long been partners in the revitalization of our historic downtown,”
said Emily Long, Executive Director of West Plains Downtown Revitalization. “This program creates an affordable
opportunity for businesses to promote their brand while making a visible investment in the place that brings our
community together.”
Downtown street banners are estimated to be viewed by approximately 1,800 to 4,000 vehicles each day in
addition to those on foot, giving sponsors continuous visibility throughout the year. In addition to increasing brand
recognition, sponsorship participation demonstrates support for community development and downtown
improvement efforts.
Sponsors may select a first and second choice for banner placement within the downtown district. While every effort
will be made to accommodate location preferences, placement cannot be guaranteed.
The program will offer an exclusive priority enrollment period for businesses and organizations located within the
Downtown District from August 1 through September 15, 2026. Following that period, any remaining sponsorship
opportunities will be opened to businesses and organizations throughout the greater West Plains area.
Banners were designed by Ron Kerns, and West Plains Downtown Revitalization will prepare banner artwork using
sponsor-provided logos. Sponsors are encouraged to submit high-quality logo files for the best possible
appearance. Banners will be printed by KMC Creations and installed by the City of West Plains.
Existing sponsors will receive renewal opportunities before sponsorships are offered to new participants in future
years.
Businesses interested in participating can complete the online sponsorship form and submit payment to reserve
their banner sponsorship. Sponsorships are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
