Hartville, MO. – A driver from Lebanon, MO. has died after sustaining serious injuries in a crash on Friday, September 29th.
This crash occurred on Highway HH, and only involved one vehicle. Jon Donigan, 38, of Lebanon was driving a Pontiac Sunfire Westbound when he left the roadway at around 3:25pm, five miles East of Hartville, MO. The vehicle overturned and struck a fence. Donigan was not wearing a safety device and was ejected in the process. He was pronounced deceased by Wright County Coroner Ben Hurtt at 3:57pm.
Troop G has logged 26 fatalities for 2023, which is up from 18 recorded this time last year.
The Highway Patrolman investigator on this accident was Trooper N.B. Poynter of Troop G. They were assisted by Master Sergeant R.D. Vaughn, Corporal S.J. Crewse, Trooper R.D. Crewse, Trooper S.J. William, and Trooper P.L Mason.
