Drought Conditions Still Present but Improving Amidst May Rains

Between both states, improvements worthy of notice include the absence of drought now in place in northern Texas County, and reduction of D3 conditions across Missouri, as well as the reduction of D4 drought, the most severe level of drought, across the listening area of Arkansas.

Still yet, D3 extreme drought remains a concern in Arkansas, and stretches up into the southernmost reached of Howell and Oregon Counties in Missouri.
