Another week of little to no rain has caused drought conditions to worsen across the listening area.
The US Drought Monitor has released their latest drought map information, showing an increase in the range of D3 Extreme Drought, and D4 Exceptional Drought.
The D3 drought in Missouri has expanded itself, touching every county in the immediate listening area, and as it expands, a stretch of D4 Drought now finds itself creeping in from the west as far as Taney and Christian Counties.
In Arkansas, the area that saw the most relief is now returning to abnormally dry or drought conditions.
As we go into the Halloween week however, a shift of weather patterns could see some rain being delivered as we get closer to the holiday itself. Keep an eye on the weather as we go through the next week as some relief could very well be on the way.
