This event was made possible through a partnership with the Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, who will be bringing the live animals. Those who attend will be able to also ask questions about the birds, and learn fun eagle facts.

According to MDC Avian Ecologist Janet Haslerig, eagle numbers have increased to around 607 actively accounted for eagle nests. This class is also being provided as a way for the public to be able to identify these birds.

Advance registration is required and can be completed online at https://mdc-event-web.s3licensing.com/Event/EventDetails/202985. Those who wish to learn more about the event can go to mdc.mo.gov/events/eagle-days
