West Plains, MO. – A man from El Dorado Springs received charges for a DWI crash near West Plains on Monday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 12:15 a.m. on US 63, two miles south of West Plains.
A southbound Chevy Silverado driven by Matthew Hackleman, age 27, traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking a stop sign, overturned, and struck a tree.

The vehicle was totaled and Hackleman received minor injuries in the crash. He was charged by the patrol with misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway before being released for medical treatment.
