Willow Springs, MO. – An elderly Cabool man was injured in an accident while driving an ATV Thursday morning. According to the Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred on private property, three miles north of Cabool and west of Hamilton Creek Road at 10:45 a.m.
A 1999 Kawasaki Prairie 300 driven by Benjamin Scheets, age 77 of Cabool, attempted to cross a creek and overturned. Scheets was moderately injured in the crash and was transported by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for treatment. The vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
