West Plains, MO. – An elderly inmate died on Tuesday at the South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri.
At 11 p.m. on June 27, 2023, inmate Roderick Stevenson was pronounced deceased. Stevenson was a 70-year-old offender serving a life sentence for the second-degree murder of Eston Lane, III in 1989 in Greene County. He was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on April 26, 1990.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
