Oates, MO. – An eleven-year-old juvenile has been fatally injured after an ATV crash that occurred on Sunday, May 19th.
According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, this incident happened at 10:50am on Sunday, on private property near Highway J in Oates, Missouri.

The fatality accident occurred when the 11-year-old operator of a Yamaha Viking ATV reversed onto a mound of gravel, which then led to an overturn. The ATV then came to rest on top of the juvenile. They were pronounced deceased on the scene at 11:26am.
This marks Troop G’s 5th fatality for 2024, and the second fatality this month involving a juvenile and an ATV.
