Ellington Man Receives Charges After Wednesday Crash

Ellington, MO. – A man from Ellington crashed his vehicle just after 7pm on October 19th, and has received criminal charges in the aftermath.

A 2009 Chevy was being driven Northbound on South Road in Ellington by Dayton Logue, 53 of Ellington. The crash occurred when Logue traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.

The Chevy was extensively damaged and Logue suffered moderate injuries as a result of the accident. He was taken to the Iron County Hospital by local ambulance. Logue was not wearing his safety device.

After investigation, Logue was also charged with Misdemeanor, Driving While Intoxicated, Drugs, and Failure to Remain on Right Half of the Roadway. He has since been released.

This accident was investigated by Trooper C.C. McCoy of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
