West Plains, MO. – An Ellington woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Tuesday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred at 11:40 a.m. on Highway 21, 15 miles south of Ellington in Reynolds County on December 20, 2022.
A northbound 2008 Toyota Scion driven by Sharon Lee, age 76 of Ellington, ran off the left side of the roadway, striking several trees, and overturned. Lee had not been wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. She was pronounced deceased at 12:13 p.m. by the Reynolds County coroner.

This makes the 32nd fatality for MSHP Troop G in 2022, compared to 34 at the same time in 2021.
