Emergency Crews Respond to Trucks Stranded on U.S. 63

Emergency crews and tow trucks are responding to tractor trailers stranded on U.S. Highway 63 near State Route UU in Pomona. Law enforcement officials continue to caution drivers to stay home, if at all possible.

Roads throughout the city and county are still covered in snow this morning and road conditions are hazardous. USE CAUTION ON THE ROADS. RIGHT NOW: Southbound US HWY 63 is completely blocked on both sides outside of Willow Springs past the airport and headed towards Willow Springs. Traffic is also stopping near County Road 2600 headed into West Plains. The Pomona area by UU Highway near Willow Springs is encountering a traffic backup. Roads near the border of Arkansas are also being closed due to slippery road conditions.
