At approximately 6:27 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2025, James Rainbolt of Eminence was arrested by Shannon County Sheriff Captains Brumble and McCoy. He was placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges. The charges are related to domestic violence, including Domestic 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degree.
The arrest follows an incident involving an adult female, in which he allegedly choked her, causing her to lose consciousness. Rainbolt is also accused of pushing a child and raising his hand in a threatening manner towards another child. The adult female victim was transported to an emergency room for treatment.
