West Plains, MO. – A number of social media groups are seeing a post from various individuals about a bear entering a vehicle and tearing the interior to shreds. Multiple different users have posted the same four pictures to various groups on Facebook over the last few weeks.
The caption to the post will read: Officers were dispatched to a vehicle unlock this morning in (insert city name) . Once they arrived they found the vehicle locked with a bear inside. Needless to say Bear -1 Vehicle -0 . This is a reminder to keep your vehicle doors locked even if you will be out of it for only a few minutes.
These posts are being made by bots that seek to hack your social media accounts. Do not interact with these posts. The post originally came from a social media post in North Carolina but has been adapted by scammers.
