Fatal Crash in Reynolds County

A Centerville man was killed and two others were injured Monday morning in a single‑vehicle crash on Highway 21, about half a mile south of Centerville.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the southbound 2014 Ford Mustang went off the roadway at 9:38 a.m. and crashed, resulting in total damage to the vehicle.  Troopers noted that none of the occupants were wearing a safety device.

A 41‑year‑old male passenger from Centerville died from his injuries and was taken to McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellington.

The 18‑year‑old driver, also from Centerville, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy South in St. Louis. A 16‑year‑old male passenger from Ellington sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
