A Licking woman died in a single‑vehicle crash Monday morning in Texas County.
Troopers say the 64‑year‑old was driving east on Highway V when her 2003 Jeep Wrangler went off the left side of the road, hit a tree and overturned.

She was not wearing a safety device and was pronounced dead at 10:46 a.m. by Texas County Memorial Hospital staff through EMS on scene.
This marks Troop G’s 15th fatality of the year, compared to 16 at this time last year.
