Field Training Officer Course Certifications

The Howell County Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize the following for their successful negotiation of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Field Training Officer Course:

• Deputy Travis Weaver

• Deputy Jared Hummel

The Field Training Officer Course is comprehensive training that provides information for the implementation of an effective field training program within a department. The course covered all aspects of the field training program, including recruit officer orientation, communication, motivation, learning principles, evaluation, and termination.
