Salem, AR. – The first murder to have taken place in the pair of Fulton County murders from the previous weeks was caused by an alleged dispute over a lawn mower then escalated, according to testimony.
Information was taken from the probable cause affidavit for this case, which also details testimony from Tabatha Pebler, who has since been charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
On May 31st, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Stonewood Road after Pebler had called them, stating she had shot her son, Brandon Chrisco.
Pebler stated she was mowing the lawn and got stuck, and called her son to help her get the mower unstuck. Things escalated when she got the mower stuck a second time, and Brandon became verbally and physically abusive.
Further testimony states Pebler moved to her vehicle and grabbed a handgun she had in the console, and then fired a warning shot at Brandon, telling him to stay away. She then shot again and struck Chrisco in the chest, killing him.
