West Plains, Mo. – The West Plains Optimist Club Mighty Mite Football & Cheerleading sign-up for first and second grade students will be held tonight, Thursday, August 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the People’s Park Pavilion in West Plains.
The cost will be $40 per child enrolling in either football or cheerleading. This includes a jersey, helmet, and shoulder pad rentals, as well as a mouth guard, and a trophy at the end of the season for those in football. For cheerleading, this includes pom-poms, cheer outfit, and trophy at the end of the season.

While the equipment provided should be sufficient, parents may want to purchase football pants and cleats for their children as well.
