Five Fire Departments Respond to Ozark County Home Fire

Thornfield, MO. – Last Thursday, November 21st, several local Fire Departments responded to a house fire in rural Ozark County. 

The fire took place off of JJ Highway during the afternoon hours. The Thornfield VFD was the first to respond, with the squires VFD, Wasola VFD, Ava Rural Fire Department, and City of Ava Fire Department arriving to assist after. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office also was on-scene to assist.
