Isabella, MO. – The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office made a recent announcement on a set of 5 individuals who were taken into custody after a traffic stop that led to a subsequent investigation and the discovery of a drug trafficking operation.
According to the announcement, the traffic stop occurred on May 3rd, and started with Ozark County deputies patrolling near Isabella. Deputies Sherman and Moss initiated a traffic stop, and deployed K9 Karo, who alerted to the presence of narcotics. Two were arrested during the stop, Larry Sanders, and Sandra Coons.
Further investigation of the traffic stop led to a pair of search warrants for residences in Isabella, with the Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force serving them. Three people were arrested during the searches, identified as Thomas Pettit, Summer Luna, and Michael Peardon. Confiscated during the operations were meth, firearms, drug paraphernalia, and illegally obtained prescription drugs.
