Many roadways that had been closed or deemed impassable reopened late Monday afternoon in West Plains and surrounding communities as floodwaters receded. However, flooding remains a threat for many roadways, resulting in the closure of many area schools.
Always remember to remain weather aware and follow the simple rule: turn around, don’t drown.
