Food Trucks, Sounds Downtown, Downtown Theater & More – West Plains Arts Alliance Update

West Plains, MO. – Summer is almost upon us now, with the Fair, Ole-Time Music Festival, and HOBA behind us, you may think there’s nothing between now and July 4th. In this update from the West Plains Arts Alliance, we’re glad to be proving that thought wrong.

Beginning this Thursday, the first of several Food Truck Festivals will be held at the West Plains Civic Center, where you’ll be able to see a smattering of different foods available for purchase. This will take place from 10am to 2pm.

From 6:30pm to to 9:30pm on Thursday will be free live music on the square. This is called Sounds Downtown, and will take place specifically in Luster Arcade.

Friday and Saturday, the first performances of the musical, Mary Poppins, will be taking place at the Avenue Theatre at 7pm. There will be another performance on Sunday at 3pm.

Lastly, the Conversations Starts Art Show, put on by the Ozarks Artery, will be taking entries June 24th through the 28th.
