Former Bakersfield School Teacher Receives Sentence for Sexual Relations with a Student

A former Bakersfield School District teacher has been sentenced for their illicit relationship with a student.

Charges on this case were filed last year. Victoria Fowler, 30 of Caulfield, has been sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to two counts of Sexual Contact with a Student. This will require Fowler to register as a sex offender, surrender her teaching license, stop all contact with the victim and any other students, and no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18, except her own children.
