JONESBORO, Ark. — A former Mountain Home resident suspected of a Jonesboro murder has been returned to Arkansas.
48-year-old Shawn Cone was booked into the Craighead County Detention Center on Monday, December 23. He is expected to face a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of 50-year-old Alissa Gay Reynolds, who shared a home with Cone in Jonesboro.

Reynolds’ body was found in the home December 8 following a wellbeing check. Cone was arrested the following day at an airport in Florida, where he reportedly had $3000 cash and one of Reynolds’ credit cards on his person.
