Former W.P. Coach Charged with Sex Crimes Granted Change of Venue

West Plains, MO. – The former West Plains coach charged with sex crimes against a minor was granted a change of venue on Monday.

On February 22, 2022, Christopher R. Taylor, age forty-one, was arrested by the Howell County Sheriff’s Department on charges of Sexual Contact with a Student, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Child Molestation with a bond set at $50,000.

Attorneys for Taylor submitted a request for a change of venue on March 2, 2022. On March 28, the change of venue was granted to Butler County and bond was amended to have no contact with any child under the age of 18 without adult supervision without prior approval of the Court.
