A two‑vehicle crash on U.S. 63, two miles south of West Plains, resulted in four people being transported for medical treatment Monday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a southbound 2015 Mazda CX‑5 attempted a left turn from lane two, crossed into lane one, and struck a southbound 2020 Chevrolet Blazer.

The Mazda’s driver, a 46‑year‑old woman from West Plains, and the Blazer’s driver, a 25‑year‑old woman from Mammoth Spring, sustained minor injuries.
Two juvenile passengers in the Blazer—a three‑year‑old boy and a ten‑year‑old girl—also suffered minor injuries. All four were transported for medical treatment.
