Four injured, including two children, in two-vehicle crash near Ellsinore

West Plains, MO. – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash near Ellsinore on Wednesday night. The crash occurred at 7:02 p.m. on US 60, five miles east of Ellsinore according to highway patrol reports.

A GMC Sierra driven by Martinez Raymundo, age 47 of Jacksonville, Texas, failed to yield to a Chevy 1500 driven by Thomas Waldon, age 23 of Ellsinore, striking the truck in the rear and totaling both vehicles.

Raymundo suffered serious injuries in the crash. Waldon was not reported as injured but three of his passengers, a 13-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl, and 37-year-old Alana Carpenter-Epperson, suffered minor injuries. All injured parties were taken by East Carter County Ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital for treatment.
