Four Juveniles Injured, One Seriously Injured After Crash

Birch Tree, MO. – Four juveniles were injured and one was seriously injured after driving a car and crashing it.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash happened on May 30, 2024, at 5:40 p.m., 3 miles north of Birch Tree, Missouri. A 15-year-old juvenile female was traveling northbound on County Road 459 when she traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, totaling the vehicle. A 13-year-old female was ejected from the vehicle and received serious injuries. Four other female juveniles, two 13-year-olds, one 12-year-old, and the 15-year-old driver, were all injured in the crash and transported via ambulance to various hospitals for treatment. The 13-year-old ejected from the car was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield via Air Evac.
