Four Traffic Deaths in Missouri During Holiday Travel

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports four fatalities in traffic crashes during this year’s Thanksgiving holiday counting period–from 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, December 1. Among the four deaths- a 25 year old Mammoth Spring Arkansas man who was killed when he was partially ejected from a pickup during a rollover crash on Highway 142 near Myrtle. The driver of that truck, 54-year-old Robert M. Powell of Thayer, was seriously injured and was also charged with felony driving while intoxicated, involving the death of another person.
