Mountain Home, AR. – According to the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management, a new Disaster Recovery Center, or DRC, has been opened today in Mountain Home in the continuing effort to assist people affected by the severe storms that occurred in late May across northern Arkansas.
This center has been established at the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, 1042 Highland Circle in Mountain Home. Operational hours for this center will be Mondays through Saturdays from 8am to 6pm, with the only closed day being Sundays.
This means that northern Arkansas residents that were affected by the May storms and tornadoes can contact officials with FEMA and other organizations to request help in further clean-up and recovery.
You can show up to the DRC in person, or you can call 1-800-621-3362 to get started.
