Free Fall Prevention Program Offered at West Plains Senior Center

The West Plains Senior Center will offer a free fall prevention program beginning Tuesday, June 3, and continuing every Tuesday through July 22. Classes will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. once a week for eight weeks. The program is completely cost-free and is designed to teach practical strategies to manage and prevent falls.

Participants will learn how to view falls as controllable, set goals to increase physical activity, make home modifications to reduce fall risks, and practice exercises to improve strength, balance, and flexibility. The program is ideal for anyone concerned about falling, those who have fallen in the past, or individuals looking to improve their balance and activity levels.
