It’s Wednesday morning and winter weather has made its return to the Ozarks this morning. As you travel about through your morning commutes, drive slowly and carefully to avoid any potential accidents.
While overall volumes of dangerous weather have turned out to be lighter than expected, several law enforcement agencies have reported slide-off events with some drivers stuck.
Most accumulation appears to be in a band stretching roughly west-southwest to east-northeast, settling with West Plains on the outer edge. In addition to the freezing rain this morning, natives to the area should also take note of possibly sub-zero wind chill temperatures present in the area tonight.
