Friday: “The Prince of Egypt” Auditions in West Plains; Live Music Downtown

West Plains, MO. – Town is abuzz with activity as of late, with temperatures rising and people getting out and about more and more as we enter the apex of Spring in the Ozarks. Two events comign up soon are the focus of Terry Hampton as we go through this week’s West Plains Arts Alliance Update.

This Friday, auditions are being held for a stage performance of the “The Prince of Egypt”, the summer musical this year for the Avenue Theatre. This audition is open to both adults and youth, from 5pm to 8pm. More information can be found here.

Then, at the Yellow House from 7pm to 9pm, live music will be performed by local musician Slim Stanley. This track set will include tributes to The Grateful Dead.
