Hardy, Ark. – A Fulton County man wanted in connection with a hostage situation has been captured. Joshua Hoover was captured at the Riverbend Park just outside the city limits of Hardy, Arkansas at noon.
Hoover was wanted by Sharp and Craighead Counties, being wanted in the Jonesboro area for similar crimes. The suspect escaped from police on Sunday after fleeing in a gray 2019 Toyota 4 Runner, following a situation in which he was holding a female hostage at a business called The Red Mule.

Hardy Police Chief Scott Rose posted on social media that Hoover had been arrested at noon on Monday.
