Mountain Home, AR. – The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release this morning on the arrest of a man from Fulton County who was making plans to kill a victim in Baxter County, including the construction of an explosive device and the solicitation of a third party.
On Friday, March 3rd, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office received information that Tristan Jedidiah Huber, 27 of Viola, AR, was making death threats towards an individual in Baxter County. This information included explicit and detailed text messages incriminating Huber. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office had also received information that Huber was fabricating an explosive device to hurt the victim.
Law enforcement responded quickly and arrested Huber at his residence, and located the explosive device shortly thereafter. The Arkansas State Police Bomb Squad were called in, and found the device to not yet be operational.
As of Saturday, March 4th, Huber is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on a $110,000 bond with charges of Felony Solicitation to Commit Murder, Felony 1st Degree Terroristic Threatening, and Misdemeanor Threatening Fire or Bombing; as well as two previous outstanding warrant charges including Criminal Mischief and Theft of Property.
