Fulton County Resident Faces Felony Charge After Vehicular Assault

Fulton County, AR. – A Fulton County man is now facing charges including Felony Aggravated Assault, and Misdemeanors Driving While Intoxicated and Driving on a Suspended License, after he assaulted another man with a vehicle.

The situation began as the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department responded to a pair of he-said, she-said calls regarding an altercation and someone being run over. Upon arrival of the scene of the incident, an investigation revealed 29-year-old Mose Swartzentruber got involved in an altercation with another man before using his vehicle to run over him.

Swartzentruber claimed be didn’t think he had hit anyone in his escape, but the previously mentioned 911 call he made proved he knew otherwise. The injured individual was transported to Cox South for his serious injuries.

Swartzentruber is being held in the Fulton County Detention Center, and has been issued a $50,000 bond.
