A Gainesville man was moderately injured in a rollover crash Thursday afternoon on Missouri 142, one mile east of Bakersfield.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened at 1 p.m. when a westbound 2006 GMC Envoy traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected, sending the SUV back onto the road before it skidded off the left side, overturned, and struck a fence.

The 44‑year‑old male driver, who was not wearing a safety device, was airlifted by Air Evac to Cox South in Springfield.
