Gainesville School to Install New Baseball/Softball Complex

Gainesville, MO. – The School Board in Gainesville, MO. recently gave their approval for plans to expand their facilities to the school during a recent meeting.

The plan includes a pair of new fields for baseball and softball, as well as a new student activity complex. According to information from KTLO in Mountain Home talking with Superintendent Justin Gilmore, this project was put into motion for several reasons, including safety, support of the students, and being in-line with other schools.

The new area will be constructed on land next to the Highschool and Junior High, which used to be a former airport, and will also include bathrooms, a concession stand, and batting cages. Parking areas will also be implemented to accompany the complex.

The price for this expansion is expected to cost somewhere around one million dollars.
