Gamaliel, AR. – For the many who take route 101 travelling between West Plains and Mountain Home, they may notice a difference in the scenery on the way, as a residence on Highway 101 burned down last week.
No residents were harmed in the fire. While the cause has yet to be determined, statements from officials are that the origin of the fire was in the breaker box for the residence.
The fire occurred last week, and was reported after midnight on Monday. In attendance to combat the fire were the Gamaliel and Henderson Fire Departments, and while there is no specific estimate on the value of damage, the before-and-after photos provided by the Gamaliel Fire Department and Google Maps show a stark contrast and paint a clear picture.
