WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Students, faculty, and staff had the opportunity to get up close and personal with a giant geographical map of Missouri during Missouri State University-West Plains’ observance of Geography Awareness Week.
The 17×21-square-foot map was provided by the Missouri Geographic Alliance and the National Geographic Society for the celebratory event held November 11-15.
Geography Awareness Week activities were funded through the university’s Annual Fund and the Philanthropic Women for Education organization.
