HOUSTON, Mo. — The Texas County Food Pantry got a little boost this Christmas thanks to an anonymous donation.
The pantry reports that a $50 1-ounce gold coin was donated in the red kettle at the Houston Walmart on Tuesday, December 17. After speaking with a local pawn shop and coin store, it was determined the coin was worth $1400.
