Grand Jury Indictment Filed for Accused Drug Trafficker

A Grand Jury indictment is filed against a West Plains man who was one of three charged in a December 10th traffic stop that led to the discovery of drugs. Samuel Meador is charged with first degree drug trafficking after the Howell County Sheriff’s Office assisted the South Central Drug Task Force in finding over 14 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 300 fentanyl capsules, and other various other items associated with drug use. Court records show the drugs are believed to have been sourced from the St. Louis area. K-9 Deputy Robert Malone, accompanied by his K-9, Spice, assisted the Drug Task Force in the arrests. Two other occupants of the vehicle, Bradley Hale and Monica Kesling, also face charges.
