The West Plains Public Library is offering a full slate of family‑friendly programs this week as part of its summer series, “Unearth a Story.” Events run June 22–26 and include activities for young children, teens, and families.
On Tuesday, June 23, Story Time with Miss Debbie will be held at 10 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. in the library’s community room. Later that afternoon, teens can take part in a free “Prehistoric Paper Folding” session from 4 to 4:30 p.m., with themed snacks provided.
The week’s headline event comes Thursday, June 25, when Circus Pop! The Giant Bubble Show takes the stage at the West Plains Civic Center at 10 a.m.
Library officials say the programs are supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Missouri State Library.
