West Plains Bank and Trust Company has announced an $80,000 Member Impact Fund grant awarded to Habitat for Humanity of Howell County through its partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines. The funding will support the purchase of residential lots where new homes will be built for families working to improve their housing conditions.
Habitat for Humanity says the grant strengthens its mission, founded on the belief that every person deserves a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety.
