Harlin Museum Calls for Submissions to Annual Fiber & Textile Arts Show

West Plains, MO – The Harlin Museum of West Plains, MO is set to host its Annual Fabric & Textile Arts Competition Show and is calling for submissions from all Ozarks regional textile artists. Entry dates for the show’s competition will be Friday, January 14th and Saturday, January 15th from 12pm-4pm at the museum. The show’s entries will be on display in the museum’s Hathcock Gallery from January 21st through February 13th, 2022.

Categories and divisions for this juried competition art show may include any item created from fabric or textiles, including, but not limited to quilts/quilt art, afghans, crocheted &/or knitted articles, embroidered items, hand-woven or machine-woven articles, felted wool projects, lacework, tatting, applique, handmade apparel from pattern or personal design, beaded items, woven rope, canvas work (needlepoint, petit pointe, etc.), macramé, rugs, etc. in both adult or youth divisions. The show’s final categories will be determined by the entries received. All entries will be evaluated for their general appearance, construction, and artistic design. Entries must meet given guidelines for acceptance into the competition portion of the show.
