Hartville, MO. – A 79-year-old Hartville resident lost her life on Friday, April 7th during a two-vehicle accident.
The investigator of this severe accident was Trooper T.L. Sullivan of Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The report states the time of the crash was 10:05 am on Highway 5, four miles South of Hartville at Gasconade Bridge.
The accident occurred as Ama Coble, a 79-year-old Hartville resident, drove her Southbound Buick Lesabre into the path of a Northbound Peterbilt Semitruck driven by Jerod Pounds, 29 of Norwood.
Pounds suffered minor injuries and the Peterbilt overturned as it traveled off the roadway. Coble was not wearing a safety device and was fatally injured.
In assistance on this accident were Sergeant A.D. Johnson, Sergeant D.A. Huffman, Corporal S.J. Crewse, Master Sergeant R.D. Vaughan, Trooper Z.B. Tate, and CVO II J.L. Gregory.
